On July 15, 2025, the Institute of Information
and Communication Technology (IICT) at RUET warmly welcomed its new Director, Prof. Dr. Md. Zahurul Islam Sarkar,
Professor of the EEE Department. The occasion was marked by a cordial gathering
in the Director’s office, where all faculty members of IICT extended their
heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Sarkar.
The event also served
as a moment to express appreciation and warm wishes to Prof. Dr. Md. Shahid Uz Zaman,
who successfully served as the previous Director of the institute. The
gathering was further graced by senior faculty members, including Dr. Sumaiya Kabir,
Associate Director of IICT, creating an atmosphere of joy,
respect and gratitude.
